A new era of sustainable period care

At Bamboo Babe, we believe you shouldn’t have to choose between comfort and sustainability.

Our eco-friendly bamboo pads are designed to support your body, your confidence, and the planet — without compromise.

Through our supplier, our materials are certified to
EN 13432:2000 standards, a recognised European standard for industrial compostability.
We are actively working towards Australian certification and remain committed to transparency at every step.

For now, our products will break down in landfill in years — not centuries like plastic-based alternatives. So you can enjoy guilt-free disposal.

The Bamboo Babe Difference

Made using low-impact, biodegradable materials, our products are designed to breakdown in landfill environments and are industrially compostable where facilities exist. Our high-performance plant-based core absorbs quickly, eliminating the need for synthetic super-absorbent polymers (SAPs) which are derived from fossil fuels.

Designed for a secure, non-slip fit that moves with you. No bunching, no riding up, and no nasty surprises.

Independently tested and certified free from fragrances, chlorine, dyes, harsh chemicals, and toxins. Our pads are gentle of sensitive skin.

Ethically produced in a modern facility with US FDA, ISO:13485, ISO:9001, ISO:45001, and ISO:14001 certifications. Ensuring safety, quality, and responsible manufacturing at every step.

Engineered channels that draw moisture away fast to reduce the risk of leaks and help you feel dry throughout the day or night.

Why Bamboo?

Bamboo fibres are naturally round and smooth, making them incredibly gentle — especially for sensitive areas.

Bamboo is naturally breathable and pulls moisture away from the skin faster than cotton.

Bamboo grows incredibly fast, requires far less water, and usually needs no pesticides. Cotton (even organic) is much more water intensive. Bamboo produces up to 10× more fibre per acre than cotton. It also regenerates from its root system — no tillage and replanting needed. This means integrity of the soil is maintained and erosion is reduced.

Bamboo is significantly better at carbon capture than cotton due to its rapid growth rate and high biomass yield. Bamboo acts as a powerful carbon sink, while conventional cotton fields can be net carbon emitters due to farming practices.
